What's Included?

  • Exclusive hire of The Cider Works, from 9 am for the ceremony and reception.
  • A choice of tables and chairs.
  • Fresh/dried floral centrepieces to complement your colour palette.
  • Crockery, cutlery, glassware, and table linen to complement your colour palette.
  • Fully stocked and staffed pay bar.
  • We will be guided by you to decorate the venue to reflect your vision and your dream day. You can deliver all your personal decorative items before the day, and Team Cider Works will make your dreams come true.
  • Planning meetings. On the day we want to know exactly how you see your day, in every detail, so we will meet with you as often as you need to ensure that every detail is exactly as you imagined.
  • We will supply PA equipment for background music and speeches throughout the day and work with your musical suppliers to ensure that the day is filled with beautiful music.
  • Easels are available for personal welcome signs, ceremony advice, order of the day, dancefloor rules.
  • Dressing room adjacent to the honeymoon hut, two dressing tables and a full length mirror – get ready with us; arrive in the morning to welcome your beautician and hair stylist or arrive a little later to get dressed for your entrance. Time to relax and take a moment.
  • Five ensuite shepherd's huts; we include a welcome basket of tea, coffee, milk, juice, water and snacks.

We believe your wedding breakfast and evening menu should be as unique as your celebration. Our talented Head Chef John Young will design a bespoke menu tailored to your tastes and style – whether you dream of a fine dining experience, a relaxed afternoon tea, a two- or three-course dinner, or something more informal such as a BBQ, hog roast, wood-fired pizza, grazing table, bowl food, or festival-style feast. During your planning meeting, we’ll explore your ideas together to craft a menu that perfectly reflects your personality and makes your Kent wedding truly unforgettable.

With our individually designed shepherd’s huts, we can accommodate up to 18 members of your wedding party on site. The huts are included for the night of your wedding, so you can all stay together and enjoy a relaxed start to married life. We can also arrange a champagne breakfast for everyone the morning after, making your celebration last that little bit longer.

What can I say , best venue ever. From the beautiful garden and gorgeous interior and the flexibility of being able to move about weather dependent was a bonus. The hosts are amazing , nothing was any trouble for them and they took care of everything. The accommodation was a bonus for guests as well as the bridal hut and new getting ready area for the bride and bridesmaids . The food was delicious and was catered to everyone’s needs. The experience from start to finish was perfect. Jodie was fantastic making every part of planning easy. After dropping off all the decorations Jodie and her team worked very hard and made my vision come alive. WE COULD NOT FAULT JODIE AND THE TEAM AT THE CIDERWORKS. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble.The attention to detail was outstanding, the venue looked stunning, I had an idea of how I wanted our Christmas themed wedding to look, I turned up the day before with boxes and bags full of things and Jodie really did make all our dreams come true. She was happy for us to choose the exact food we wanted, we didn’t have to stick to a standard menu. It really was the perfect day.

The Cider Works is the perfect venue for your next business meeting, training event, seminar, or workshop. We have great WIFI connections for all your delegates, a full-size screen and projector for your presentations and plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the event comfortably either in theatre layout or carousel table format. We can accommodate up to 90 delegates and we will look after you with any combination of coffee, tea, sweet treats for a morning event through to sandwich or buffet style lunches and afternoon refreshments as needed.
For less formal meetings for clubs and local groups we can arrange tea, coffee and cakes for a morning get together or perhaps a cream tea for an afternoon gathering!

We booked and went to the Cider Works for a quiet family lunch and came away extremely satisfied. Much of the footprint and character of the original pub has been retained yet there is a clean, quiet ambience to the place, inside and out, which is both pleasant and relaxing. The staff are very polite and extremely helpful and there is a well-stocked bar serving drinks at very reasonable prices. For Covid reasons we chose to sit and eat outside on the veranda although there is plenty of spacious table space inside if the weather is unpleasant. The menu is not vast but everything we had was fresh and tasty and plenty of it, again at very reasonable prices. The prawn and avocado salad was particularly delightful, but all our meals were very good. The chips are different and very tasty too! This is early days for the Cider Works, but all was great for us. This is a fine place for weddings and functions or to stay in one of their shepherd’s huts for hire in their large garden area. Good value in nice surroundings...would highly recommend.

Today 6 of us came to The Cider Works for Sunday Lunch. We enjoyed a delicious meal with a choice of gammon, chicken or beef as well as beautifully presented and very tasty puddings. All staff members were polite, efficient and exemplary in every way. We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived. Your restaurant is smart, well decorated and spotless…as were the facilities. Value for money was better than anywhere else that I have eaten in a long while. Absolutely stunning venue. I’ve been privileged to attend 2 events here recently, both were fantastic. The staff are a true credit to the place. The food is wonderful and so reasonably priced. The grounds are lovely too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

What can I say… my daughter had her wedding here and it was so beautiful the memory will stay with me forever. Tables were dressed beautifully and the outside space was made just perfect.
